Zipporah Nyokangi

Zipporah is the founder of Etago Capital, and currently based in Toronto Canada. The name Etago Capital is a nod to her family’s entrepreneurial roots. Etago is a village in the Kisii district of Kenya where her grandparents were tea farmers and convenience store owners, small businesses that allowed them to educate their children and create employment in their community.

Prior to founding Etago Capital, Zipporah worked at the global management consulting firm Bain and Company, her consulting work focused on strategy development and performance improvement projects for large corporations in Sub-Saharan Africa and Canada. In addition to her work, she founded a mentorship program which encourages young women in Etago to pursue higher education and degrees in STEM.

Zipporah holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, and a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cape Town.
